Beckett Woller

My buddies RJ and Duke came to my party. I'm the oldest so I had the first party. We're just kicking back on the grass. I can't wait to go to their birthday parties.

I am about to turn a year old, so Mommy and Daddy threw me a party at Miguelito Park in Lompoc.
It was great fun and I loved the cake that Mommy made me. I also got great presents, and got to hang out with Pop pop and Grandma Sue who came all the way from Nashville for the big day! Click on this picture to check out all the great photos from my big day!

Beckett's friend RJ got one of these walking things. It wasn't going to happen that RJ walks before Beckett because he is two days younger than Beckett! So...We had to get one.

Beckett loves it (even though this picture says otherwise) and goes racing around the living and dining room.

I've been holding out my hands to him when he hits a dead end. This necessitates him reaching out to take a couple of baby steps to get to me without holding anything.

Beckett is playing around more these days. yesterday he was standing on the other side of the coffee table and he was playing Hide-and-Seek with Brandi by ducking down behind it when Brandi would say, "Oh, there you are!". Then Brandi would have to say, "Where's Beckett?!, where's Beckett?!" He would then pop up above the table. "Oh, there you are!".

Beckett sometimes forgets to hold onto the piece of furniture while he is standing there playing with something. Then he'll just be standing there playing with what is in his hands for a few seconds. Walking soon.

Beckett went to his first concert. We went to "Music on the Green" which goes on all Summer at Daddy's old work, New Frontiers.

Beckett seems to be missing me. He has called and left me a voicemail without Brandi even knowing about it. I get a voicemail with Beckett going ooh, ooooh, ooooooh. Then Brandi thinking it is someone who called her saying, "Hello? Hello!?". No, just Beckett and the speed-dial.

Beckett comes to visit Grammy and likes to hang out. Happiness all around.

Beckett standing by himself in the grass out in Grammy's back yard. He had the hardest time getting used to grass under his feet. Doing the karate kid thing to not even have to feel it on both feet. A very pained look on his face. He now likes to be in the grass. Oh, yeah, walking soon.

Beckett saw the parade for the Lompoc Flower Festival this year.

He thought the little girls with the shiny pom-poms were cool!

Beckett is eating more and more solid foods. He is also getting more practice feeding himself. He likes pasta, tortellini, ravioli, and potstickers. He LOVES peaches and plums. Mommy cuts up big pieces of fruit for him to munch and suck on. This picture is after a nice dinner of mushroom tortellini. His system is to first dump everything out of the bowl onto the tray, smear it around, then put food in his mouth. After eating some pasta the other day, he ended the meal by putting the bowl on his head! Such fun, too bad we don't have a maid, just mommy.
