Beckett is Getting the Whole Skateboard Thingy

Beckett and I push my skateboard around the carport in our complex. He also likes to ride it while I hold onto his hands and pull him around, slowly.

Today Beckett got frustrated with me and wiggled his hands from my grasp and held out his arms while still slightly rolling for a few more feet.

Momma says it is going to be time, soon, to get some safety equipment...

Beckett only had a couple of trims since he was born over 21 months ago.

We took him to Daddy's barbershop. Most of the screaming was pre-this-picture. He mellowed out though.

Today Beckett rolled by by himself for the first time. I usually walk with him holding his hands on flat ground. Today was hands, then hand, then no hands. He rolled for about 6-7 feet and then I grabbed him.

Vamos a la Playa

Beckett and I went to Surf Beach today. We were the only ones there because it was a little windy. Lucky Brandi had the foresight to put him in some nylon-ish sweats because when we went down to the water and a 2" high wave washed over his toes it shocked him so bad that he fell on his butt. It was a little cold. The rest of the time was spent climbing around the dunes and playing in the sand.

Beckett, with me in front of him, walked down the stairs without holding on to my hand. He just started to do it without me and I had to run down in front of him to spot him.
